uTorrent is a simple and lightweight program that allows fast and secure downloads. However, its interface is plagued by advertising. Find these ads annoying? Here's a simple trick to block them. Open uTorrent, click the Options tab and then select Preferences. Go to the Advanced section and type offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled into the Filter field.

Double click on the corresponding key to change its value from True to False:

Click on Apply > OK and then restart uTorrent to apply your new settings.
